The choice of having scars

Posted on March 15, 2019March 27, 20193 Comments on The choice of having scars

Scar noun A mark left on the skin or within body tissue where a wound, burn, or sore has not healed completely and fibrous connective tissue has developed. Scars. We’ve all got them. Some physical and some emotional. These marks are reminders of our adventures, sickness, risks taken, and faith. Scars can haunt us, bringing … Continue reading The choice of having scars

A couple of weekends ago Ian and I went away. Thankfully, the beautiful country we live in has beautiful little getaways very close to home. Romantic, huh? Well it was. Butttttt, let me tell you. Going away for a day and a half has its price. The piper was getting a wicked bonus from me. … Continue reading Paid In Full

Happy Birthday To Me

Happy Birthday To Me

Posted on September 17, 20188 Comments on Happy Birthday To Me

Today is my Birthday. It’s been a year since the PPD took control over me. A year since the exorcism was performed on me by modern medicine, and thank Gd, successfully guiding me out of the hell I was in. It’s been a year of elation and suffering, love and torment. Normally I love birthdays, … Continue reading Happy Birthday To Me

Israel, Our Journey Home

Posted on September 13, 2018February 3, 20201 Comment on Israel, Our Journey Home

We made “Aliyah” in 2011. When translated, “Aliyah” means to ascend in Hebrew. Moreover, it means we uprooted our family and decided to leave the good ol’ USA and move to Israel, the land of milk and honey. We left behind loving family, friends and many comforts that most people would rather not live without. … Continue reading Israel, Our Journey Home

When life gives you lemons…

I recently read that the average person hears 30,000 words a day. That doesn’t include repeat words. Insanity. Having 6 kids I hear allot of words a day. Quite frankly, I hear some crazy things on the regular. “Mommy, Mateo is eating something that looks like poop!”. Most of the times the words go in … Continue reading When life gives you lemons…

Happy 5th Birthday to Aliyah and Mateo!
Ian and our boy. I'm so grateful for camera's in moments like these. Love my boys.
Stumbled on these photos of Mateo from last summer... I can feel the heat from his expression in half the photos. That spaced out look that says it all -it's 105 degrees...aaaahhh, lol.
20 years together.
On our way to school...or so we thought 😒 when we arrived we found out that Gan was canceled because their teacher tested positive. So we turned around and went home... Friday family day, I guess ☺
Dream Big Little One 💤💙💤💙💤
Friday Shenanigans with some sturdy crazy monkeys.Shabbat shalom everyone. ☺💙💦💨
Camille is genius at keeping herself busy. It's amazing. She's quarantined againnnn... but it doesn't stop her from smiling and staying creative. I love her little dragon seals that she created.
Every journey starts with a single step.
